The Storyline of the Movie I Hate Luv Storys Simran, played by Sonam Kapoor (last seen in Ak vs Ak ), loves Bollywood romance stories so much that she thinks that her story is one of them. Well, she is an art director in films and has a perfect fiance known as Mr. Raj. She is happy in her life but soon another guy enters her life. Jay brings more happiness to her life and is assigned as the assistant of the director.
But on the other side, Jay doesn’t believe in love stories and is a disbeliever of romances. He doesn’t like Simran for her obsession with romance movies and even Simran’s first impression is bad on him. Moreover, after some days they become very close friends.
Simran and Jay become best friends but Simran starts falling in love with Jay. She starts thinking about her life with Jay and even confesses her feelings to him. He refuses her proposal and tells her that they are just best friends and he never thought of her as his girlfriend.
Simran leaves and doesn’t speak to him. Jay realizes her presence in his life. He plans a romantic dinner and proposes to her but this time she rejects him as she doesn’t want to hurt him. Jay gets heartbroken but his friends and family give him hope that he can still get Simran. Will they ever meet each other again?
