Wanting to prove to their parents that they were not suitable for each other romantically, two inseparable best friends decide to find each other’s soulmates.
The movie “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na” is a coming-of-age story about love, friendship, and family. Abbas Tyrewala is the director and writer of this Hindi-language film. Under the name Aamir Khan (seen in and as Laal Singh Chadhha ) Productions, the films were produced by Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan.
Star or Nepo kid of all time , Imran Khan makes his debut in this romantic comedy starring Genelia D’Souza (last seen in Ved and Mister Mummy ), Prateik Babbar, Manjari Fadnis, Ayaz Khan, Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Karan Makhija, Alishka Varde, Nirav Mehta, and Sugandha Garg.
The movie made a lot of money and was a big hit. ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, according to a lot of critics, lacked nothing, from the plot to the direction to the screenplay and soundtrack.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’
The story begins with four friends Jiggy (Nirav Mehta), Rotlu (Karan Makhija), Bombs (Alishka Varde), and Shaleen (Sugandha Garg ), narrating a unique love story of their other two friends Aditi (Genelia D’Souza ) and Jai (Imran Khan ) to Jiggy’s date Mala.
While they told Mala the story, the friends were on their way to the airport. Aditi and Jai are then shown in a flashback as the movie continues. The two best friends were very different from one another. One was a wild cat, earning it the moniker “Meow,” while the other was a harmless teddy bear.
However, despite these distinctions, everyone around them—except for the aforementioned best friends—seems to believe that they were meant for each other. However, Jai and Aditi believed otherwise. According to them, they would never have romantic feelings for each other.
After their college life ends, Aditi and Jai set out to find each other’s soulmate, and they do, end up finding their ideal girlfriend and boyfriend, but when their romance starts to cost them their friendship, it becomes hard for them to stay together.
