Jatt & Juliet is a Punjabi-language romantic comedy film released in 2012. It was directed by Anurag Singh and starred Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa in the lead roles. The film was a commercial success and spawned a sequel, Jatt & Juliet 2, which was released in 2013. The movie is a lighthearted comedy just like other flicks by Diljit, such as Sardaar Ji , Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne , and Honsla Rakh .
The Storyline of the Punjabi Movie “Jatt & Juliet” Jatt & Juliet is a romantic comedy film about a young man named Fateh Singh (Diljit Dosanjh), a villager, and a woman named Pooja ( Neeru Bajwa) who is from a classy family who wants to study in Canada. They both are from two different worlds. Fateh is a rough and tough jatt who lives, while Juliet is a sophisticated city girl. Thus, they are poles apart.
They both live in the same flat on rent and come out with a plan to get their rent rebated. But their plan fails, and they are thrown out of the house. Then, they both start working in restaurants owned by two divorcees, husband and wife. But they keep on having a bitter-sweet relationship. Despite their differences, the two fall in love in Canada.
Throughout the film, there are several humorous and heartwarming moments and fights between Fateh and Pooja. In the end, they are able to prove that love knows no boundaries and that they are meant to be together.
