Two individuals dealing with issues in their separate wedded lives structure a fellowship and attempt to help each other save their relationships, yet wind up doing exactly the opposite.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ The movie alternates between different years. Maya (Rani Mukherji) and her childhood friend Rishi Talwar (Abhishek Bachchan) married in 2002.
Both of them were raised by Rishi’s father Samarjit (Amitabh Bachchan). On the other hand, Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) is a successful soccer player who is happily married to his wife Rhea (Preity Zinta) and lives a happy life with his son Arjun (Ahsaas Channa).
Though it was a mere coincidence, Maya and Dev meet and connect instantly but soon part ways. But just as they parted, Dev got hit by a car and injured his leg, causing his soccer career to fall.
The movie skips four years ahead when Dev and Maya’s marriages are in jeopardy. Maya struggles with infertility and the lack of love in her relationship, while Dev, unable to accept the loss of soccer, is envious of his wife’s ongoing professional success. Both Maya and Dev again end up meeting and sharing each other’s troubles.
The two decide to become friends and assist one another in overcoming the challenges they face in their marriages. However, every plan they come up with fails miserably, leaving them disheartened. Soon, Maya and Dev start realizing their feelings for each other but decide not to act upon them until one day, Maya and Dev end up getting into a fight with their partners.
