Kaithi – The Storyline An economical setup marks the beginning of Kaithi. A significant amount of cocaine came on the radar of a team of police officers led by Bejoy and after confiscating the cocaine, it was kept in a secret cell right under the office of the police commissioner.
But things take a turn for the worse since the drug mafia spikes the drink of every other officer during a party, leaving only Bejoy behind. Desperate times call for desperate measures and this is when Bejoy called out to Dilli, a lifetime prisoner who just got out in the sun on parole, hoping to reunite with his daughter, someone whom he has never met before to save the day for him.
On the other hand, a couple of college students find their backs against the wall as they are in the company of a constable with the objective of preventing an escape of the boss from the jail cell.
All this is nothing but the initial 20 minutes of the story. This gives us a pure thriller genre that is filled with romantic and songs. It all feels like a video game at one point. Dilli, the man of the hour, has to go through a number of challenges to ensure the safety of the cops.
There are tons of breathtaking scenes that can make you hop out of your chair. With the hero engaging in a number of fist fights and just when it feels that things get a little to go monotonous, in comes an action shot right out of the blue.
Not to mention that there are some great characters including the mafia’s brother Arjun who has a temper and doesn’t mess around. Then there are the cameos being played by college students who did brilliantly all around.
In a nutshell, it is pretty safe to say that the film hit the bullseye and apart from a few mistakes here and there, it is a joy to watch.
