Kalki 2898 AD Release Date The announcement of Project K and the big reveal of the title amplified the audience’s anticipation for the release date of the film. Kalki makers were earlier gearing up for a 2022 release; however, due to COVID-19, there was a delay in the production of the film.
The makers then settled on the Kalki release date, which was initially January 12, 2024, on the occasion of Sankranti, but as per new reports, the makers are planning to push the release date to May 9, 2024, as the date is special to the film’s producer, Aswani Dutt, and Kalki director, Nag Aswin.
The reason for the push may be because Mahanati was released on that date and became a superhit movie.
Project K Now Kalki 2898 AD First look Just before the reveal of Project K’s glimpse, the makers of the film released the first look at Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD on July 19, 2023. However, the poster soon became the victim of backlash and trolling, and the makers had to reshare the poster with slight changes amid the backlash.
Vyjayanthi Movies shared the first look of Project K on their Twitter handle with the caption, ‘The Hero rises. From now, the Game changes.
The marketing team of the Kalki movie also released limited merchandise for the movie, which many were seen wearing at the screening of the Kalki movie’s first glimpse at SDCC.
Kalki 2898 AD Star Cast The ensemble cast of Kalki 2898 AD movie features A-list actors, including Baahubali’s fiery actor Prabhas, who was last seen in Adipurush and is gearing up for the release of Salaar Part I: Ceasefire, slated to release on September 28, 2023.
This magnum opus project of Nag Aswin also features Deepika Padukone (last seen in Pathaan ) as the female lead, which will mark the actress’s debut in Telugu cinema, and includes Amitabh Bachchan (last seen in Goodbye ), Disha Patani (last seen in Ek Villain Returns ), Kamal Haasan (last seen in Vikram ), and Dulquer Salmaan (Sita Ramam ) in pivotal roles.
