The recently released film “Kanjoos Makhichoos” is based on the well-known Gujarati play Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo. It is now available for streaming on its official streaming platform. The film, which came out on 24 March 2023, is the last time comedian Raju Srivastav appears in a movie.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Kanjoos Makhichoos’ Jamnaprasad Pandey Kunal Khemu, a married man who is saving money to take his parents on a pilgrimage, is the focus of the narrative. However, a flood causes him to lose his parents before he could do so. Jamnaprasad is attempting to come to terms with his parent’s death in a comedic yet heartfelt plot that follows.
The government’s announcement that the deceased person’s family will receive compensation is insufficient to comfort him. However, the news that Jamnaprasad would only receive half of the government’s announced compensation amount—all because of middlemen and corruption—made the already difficult situation even worse. Jamnaprasad, enraged by his helpless situation, decides to fight this corrupt system and receive the full compensation that he was promised.
