Karthikeya 2 Reviews Fans were waiting for Karthikeya 2 ott release date as its prequel Karthikeya was loved so much by the audience. The story the about Karthik, a medical student who is an atheist and believes in logic and science. He is so much curious to explore the temple that refuses to trust any superstitions which are followed by the people. Karthikeya 2 story revolves around Dr. Karthik who still sees everything from the perspective of science but soon he learns about the anklet of lord Krishna which is hidden somewhere inside the earth. The story is adventurous and has so many mysteries to unfold.
The Times of India said Karthikeya 2 remains a worthy successor to Karthikeya minus the over-the-top strong-arming of Nikhil’s character by the end. If you’ve loved Karthik’s questioning nature, you just won’t buy it. Watch this one if you’re a fan of the first film, you might just have to wait a while though to meet the curious adventurist again in Karthikeya 3.
While The Hindu said The narrative, however, does not capitalise on the potential for a nail-biting thriller. In many scenes the dialogues over-explain the protagonists’ actions. The characters are made to talk more than necessary without swiftly addressing the issue at hand. The blend of religion and thriller elements also does not happen seamlessly. The story keeps pausing to sermonise and extol ideologies, which takes the bite off the thriller.

Karthikeya 2- Filmmakers/Filmcast Interview Nikhil Siddhartha was interviewed by the First Post recently. As Anupam Kher is part of the movie, the interviewer asked about his experience with him. He said “We all know Anupam Kher sir needs no introduction. He’s a worldwide phenomenon. He just delivered a 300-crore film like The Kashmir Files . It’s kinda scary to work with such a big acting powerhouse. He makes every other actor perform well too. My acting was elevated when I was working with him. He being a part of the film was a huge boost for all of us, especially in the Hindi belt. The performance that he gave, especially in the scene when he describes the aura of Lord Krishna, the legacy of Lord Krishna, made people come repeatedly to see the film. I’ll always be grateful and thankful to him.”
Furthermore, he shared how he never expected that the film would get so much appreciation after being released in Hindi. He expressed his gratitude by saying “The footfalls were massive. We did not expect this, but alls well that ends well. It has set some really high milestones.”
Bollywood vs Tollywood Recently this question has been all around the corner. After the failure of some Bollywood films people have started praising the South Indian movies and some have even started comparing them. The same question was put up in front of Nikhil Siddhartha and he ended up impressing people with his answer.
He said “Indian cinema has always been one. Ever since the advent of a visionary like SS Rajmouli, and films like Baahubali , RRR , KGF , and even Pushpa , I do believe Indian cinema has become one. Cricket has united India many times, and cinema is uniting India once again. I’m very happy that Karthikeya 2 is also a part of this changing phenomenon. There’s no more Bollywood, Kollywood, or Tollwood, it’s one country, it’s our country.”

Karthikeya 2- Cinematographer Views Karthikey 2 has been shot in various locations like Greece, Spain, Portugal, and many more. And that would not have been possible without the cinematographer. While talking with New Indian Express he revealed that “Since the film is about Sri Krishna, we were connecting the dots from our research about Uddhava’s journey and started mapping some places. Govardhan Giri, for instance, was one such location.”
“I had picturised it as a perfect triangular structure in my mind but in reality, it looked like a normal hill. It is then I felt we should opt for a more cinematic look and we started fictionalising it. Filmmaker Chadoo Mondeti wanted me to be a part of the scripting process and we would often toss ideas about where specific sequences should be set in. As the script was being penned, we were creating a route map parallelly. At times, it was confusing whether we were looking at a script or a route map. I think the unison of these two facets helped us a lot.”
When will Karthikeya 3 Be Released? Just like the first part, the second part also ended with a quest from the doctor. That means the third part will definitely be streamed soon. Some sources state that the second was planned to be released in 2016 but due to some reasons, it took 6 years.
