Funerals and Tributes –

The concert raped up till 8:30 pm. Then he suddenly fell ill and returned to his hotel. When his condition was becoming worse, he was rushed to the CMRI hospital in Kolkata, where he was declared dead.
However the next morning Kolkata C.M. announced a Gun Salute to the Late singer KK at Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata. Where Mamata Banerjee was present for the Salute and his body was brought to Mumbai the next day for cremation on 2 June his funeral was held at the Versova Hindu Cemetery. KK’s voice has become a memory for everyone because everyone felt that when KK said “Hum Rahe Ya Na Rahe Kal Yaad Aayegey Ye Pal ”.
