Koffee with Karan Season 7 Episode 2 is finally streaming on Disney+Hotstar. B-Town BFFs Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor were invited on the couch recently, and they revealed many secrets and gossip about each other. From how they both became friends to their Thrillist trip where they almost died. Karan Johar started the show by describing the fickleness of Bollywood friendships.
Where did this friendship begin?: We all were curious about knowing the answer. So Janhvi replied, “We were neighbours in Goa, and we had a common friend. Then one day we started talking. We ended up talking till 8 AM”. They kept talking the whole night, and their bond became stronger.
They both dated siblings???: Yes, you read it right! Karan revealed that they both dated two brothers who lived in his building. Jhanvi and Sara were shocked, and their expressions were worth watching.
(But someone, please tell me how Karan knows so many secrets about everyone?)
Bonding over a trip: B-Town BFFs even went on a trip to Disneyland. Janhvi recalled an incident and told Karan, “She’s so cool! She broke every line. We didn’t have to wait, and I was like this is the best trip ever”. And Sara added, “I kept saying my friend is ahead, my friend is ahead”.
Sounds like too much fun. No? I wish I had a friend like Sara.
The pandemic was hard for all of us!: Janhvi and Sara talked about how they spent their lockdown. Sara revealed that lockdown was so difficult for her that she had anxiety. But on the other hand, Janhvi said that the lockdown helped her and her family to become closer. Especially after her mother’s demise.
The pandemic taught all of us many lessons.
Cheaper Hotel?: Janhvi called Sara to book a cheaper hotel for their Kedarnath Trip. Janhvi recalled when she said Sara had booked a cheaper hotel with no heaters.
Have you ever visited Kedarnath? If the answer is no, then let me tell you I have, and the cold froze me to death.
Trip to Kedarnath: So, the besties went on a trip to Kedarnath together and waited to read about their Thrillist experience. So, Sara said, “We decided to go to Bhairavnath. There was a normal path where normal people were walking. There was an 85-degree incline. She’s like, let’s just climb this”.
Sara Ali Khan said that the whole time she was so scared.
Then Janhvi said, “And for 30 minutes, we were like that on this mountain.”
Ngl, but I want to do this in my life.
Sara manifested “career” on the couch this time: Karan said, “The last time you were on this couch, you made this public announcement of wanting to date Kartik Aryan, and that did happen”. But Sara replied that she wanted to work with Karan, she wanted to work with Bhansali, and I did not want to date anyone.
Stop lying, Sara!
Dating isn’t my cup of tea: Karan repeatedly asked Sara about her love interest, and in the end, she spilled some coffee. Yes! Sara revealed that she wanted to date Vijay Deverakonda.
I cannot stop thinking about them! FYI they will look cute together!!!
Sara Ali and Kartik Aryan: Karan questioned, “One reason why your ex is your ex”. And Sara replied, “Because he’s everyone’s ex”.
Trust me, Karan’s and Janhvi’s expressions said it all.
What is Bholi si Surat?: Janhvi unintentionally told me that she has a finsta account, and the account is named Bholi si Surat. After confessing, she tries to play it as a joke, but that doesn’t work out.
Brb! Stalking her
Janhvi wants Aditya Roy Kapoor: Karan asked Janhvi, “If your bachelorette has a male stripper, which Bollywood celebrity would you pick”, Janhvi replied then and there, “Aditya Roy Kapoor”. And Karan asked why. Is he hot?
I would have said, of course, Karan, Aditya Roy Kapoor is hot, and these days his instant edits are making me drool over him.
Sara’s and Janhvi’s views about women in Bollywood: They both agreed that in Bollywood, women could not peek into their careers after a certain age. But on the other hand, men who are 40+ are still getting roles as male leads.
And here we all agree with both of them.
