Storyline of the Movie “Kumari” From the very beginning of the movie “Kumari”, there is a feeling that bad energies would eventually be let loose. That is obviously an expected plot in a movie of this kind that combines fantasy and horror. This narration of the movie is further enhanced by the prologue, which includes a reciting of a grandma’s narrative about the misfortunes that have befallen the Kanhirangat family.
After marrying Dhruvan (Shine Tom Chacko), the younger son of the family head, Kumari (Aishwarya Lekshmi) is ready to move into this home where the 12 generations have faced the curse of a supernatural entity, the only way to break the curse if to make a child-sacrifice. Now, when Kumari is pregnant, the family is happy as they will free themselves from the curse by sacrificing her child.
But, being a mother, Kumari will go to any extent to save her child, even if she has to make a trade with supernatural forces.
