It is never easy to come up with a good sequel and above this, impressing the audience with a new storyline while maintaining the same reputation at the same time is quite difficult, but this daring step has been taken by the makers of Laung Laachi 2. After four years of the original hit, the sequel is now released in theaters and has attracted applause from the audience worldwide.
Neeru Bajwa, Ammy Virk, and Amberdeep Singh retain the lead roles like the first release, but the story now revolves around the ambience of 1947 and how people were displaced and forced to leave their homes due to the sad Partition.
The Storyline of the Movie “Laung Laachi 2” The story plot is based on the most unfortunate incidents in Indian history, but the movie starts on light and comic note. Mehnga (Amberdeep Singh) lives in his ancestral yet dilapidated house with his family. He is now keeping an eye on the ‘opportunity’ of displacement to loot things for improving his financial condition to get his sister married, which is anyhow an expensive event.
Mehanga takes over a haveli, but there is already a Muslim family living in it. And, fell for the family’s elder daughter Mariam (Neeru Bajwa). The two families start living under the same roof and romance starts brewing between the two. But, then the story takes a twist, as Karnail (Ammy Virk) and his family enter the haveli and start living there, with two families. No matter how happy-go-lucky the drama is, partition has pain and challenges intertwined with it. Watch the movie to laugh out loud, and cry at some moments.
