Finally, the most awaited movie of south industry heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda’s “Liger” has hit the theaters. He is making Bollywood debut with this movie along with Student of the Year 2 fame Ananya Pandey, and Ramya Krishnan, known as Shivagami from Bahubali . This movie is directed by Puri Jagannath, produced under the banner of Dharma Production House, and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
This movie was announced in 2019, and the shooting started in February 2021. Janhvi Kapoor was the first choice for the leading lady role, but it went to Ananya Pandey due to Janhvi date issues.
The Storyline of the Movie “Liger ” The movie is a sports drama that revolves around the protagonist, a ring boxer. He has a stammering problem but is not afraid of anyone. Liger manages to reach the top level in the game, compete with international players, and makes his country proud. He faces many enemies who become trouble for him, but his fighting spirit takes it to the next level of life, where he meets a beautiful girl and instantly falls in love amid difficulties.
But things get out of hand when his girlfriend asks him to return, but he refuses, fights with a broken heart, and manages to hoist the tricolor on foreign soil. It is a sports drama movie with a tinge of romance and action.
Director Puri Jagannath took this risk, and when you watch the film, you will understand the respect and beauty with which he has executed this task. The film has a tremendous dose of action to romance.
