A young man who had just ended a relationship with his girlfriend hears the love story of an elderly man. Even though they were in love at different times, the young man realizes that their feelings of love might not be so dissimilar.
Hindi Movie, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is yet another masterpiece of the one and only Imtiaz Ali who is known for his movies like Rockstar , Tamasha , and the list goes on. this movie is produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan, the film was released on 31 July 2009. It is a romantic comedy-drama film about how the idea of finding love has changed over time but how the feeling of love for another person has never changed.
The film, which starred Deepika Padukone, Rishi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Giselli Monteiro, was a commercial success and the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ The story of two couples living in different eras unfolds simultaneously throughout the movie. The life of a modern couple, Jai Vardhan (Saif Ali Khan) and Meera Pandit (Deepika Padukone) are shown at the beginning of the film. They are both content in London and strongly adhere to the belief that they should not influence their professional lives, which led to their breakup. Jai remains in London while Meera leaves for India. After a while, Meera and Jai find that they can easily move on from one another and start dating their friends while remaining close friends.
The film, on the other hand, tells a story from the past. A story of Veer Singh Panesar (Saif Ali Khan) and Harleen (Giselli Monteiro). An older Veer (Rishi Kapoor) is seen narrating his love story to Jai and asks him to not let Meera go from his life. Jai initially finds his story absurd, but he agrees to meet Meera in India at Veer’s insistence and soon begins to realize how much he loves Meera.
The movie continues forward with Jai and Meera discovering their priorities in life and their love for one another.
