The Storyline of The Movie ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’: Sameer is a flirtatious orthopaedist who is the best at what he does. However, most of his female patients fall for him, and in order to save himself from this ordeal, he tells them that he is married. However, his harmless lie becomes harmful when he actually falls in love with Sonia. Samir tells Sonia that he is in a troubled marriage and is on the verge of getting a divorce from his wife. Sonia insists on meeting Samir’s wife and kids, who do not exist in reality.
Sameer requests his secretary, Naina, to pretend to be his wife and get her niece and nephew as their kids. Moving forward with his lie, Sameer arranges for a fake divorce with the help of his friend Vicky.
This already chaotic situation becomes more chaotic with the entry of Sameer’s mother, as she is strictly against the idea of his son getting a divorce. She tries to mend things between Sameer and Naina, thinking them to be an actual couple!
However, as this web of lies grows thicker, Sameer gets more and more stuck in it. Sonia’s neighbor, Pyare, is also making the situation difficult for Sameer, as Pyare constantly flirts with Sonia making Sameer jealous.
Nevertheless, Sameer and Sonia are at the altar about to get married when Sonia makes him realize that Naina is the one for Sameer and not her. The movie comes to an end with Sonia getting married to Pyare and Sameer being able to stop Naina from leaving the country and staying with him.
