Manisha Rani is a dancer, a famous influencer on Social Media, and right now one of the favorite Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 contestants. She is praised for her entertaining posts on all the online platforms. Like most stars, she started gaining popularity via her TikTok videos, but before you judge her life to be privileged or lucky, let us tell you about her past, which is still down in the dumps.

Manisha was born and brought up in the Munger region of Bihar district. She belongs to a modest family. From her childhood, she saw big dreams of entering the film industry, but when you want something so bad, the universe tests you. Rani faced so many hurdles in her life and worked at various places to earn money, and in the end, her hard work paid off.

The inspiring influencer has a youtube channel and has more than 1 Million subscribers, and on Instagram, she has around 5 million subscribers. Manisha Rani belongs to a modest family, and she used to reside in Bihar. She was born on 10th June 1994 in a district of Bihar known as Munger. Because of her financial condition, she studied in a government school in Bihar. Rani has 3 siblings, and her sister supports her so much that she even got into an argument to defend her sister. But during childhood, she never got support from her family.

When Manisha Rani was at a young age, she wanted to pursue dance and acting and to fulfill her dream. In 12th grade, she planned to participate in “Dance India Dance,” but her father objected and didn’t permit her. Furthermore, she tried to talk with her family members regarding her dream many times but always got disappointed with their reactions.

Soon, she left a letter for her family and ran away from her house and sadly her father didn’t speak to her for a whole year. During an interview, she said “When I ran from home, I went to Kolkata. I wanted to learn to dance and my father was not allowing me, So, I wrote a letter to my father and we ran away with a friend. I wrote to my dad, “Maaf kijiyega humko (please forgive me). I got on a train without a ticket. I was so fearless that I did not fear getting arrested, I will sit in the lockup for 2 hours. In fact, we would not even buy Rs 5 platform tickets in Kolkata. I stayed in a house that was in such a bad condition, I don’t think today any of my family members would be able to live. The house was in a bad condition and had mosquitoes, and would not be able to sh** also because of the mosquitoes.”

Career

Manisha Rani who wanted to pursue her dreams, ran away from her house and she first started working as a dancer and a waitress in weddings. She used to make Rs 500 per day. There was a time when she was not even able to afford her rent which led her to accept an offer of working as a background dancer but the manager asked her to put on revealing dresses and dance in front of many people. She did the work for 10 days and planned to leave, but the manager requested her to wait for two more days.

Later, things got above the water, and her manager locked her up. She ran away from the place and asked her boyfriend to send her Rs 500. After spending some time in Kolkata with him, she planned to move to Bihar again. Without losing hope, she began making Tiktok videos and gained popularity. Soon her luck and hard work paid off, and she was invited to some events. Last but not least, she received the Best Influencer and Entertainer Award at Radio Adda Excellence Awards 2022.

In 2023, she appeared in Bigg Boss OTT 2. Some contestants are supporting her, while Bebika Dhruve tried to belittle her as she studied in a government school. But without losing confidence, she said that she is thankful for the school she studied in. Later, her sister Saarika also supported the statement.

Manisha Rani talks about her family

Even after facing so many issues in her hometown, Manisha never talked badly about her family members. During an interview, she said, “As a child, we used to miss having a mother. We couldn’t just come back from school, throw our bags and ask Mother for food. We used to see that kind of love between our cousins and their parents.”

Moreover, she said, “I salute my father as he did so much for us. He used to come from the office and take us to restaurants to eat since, in the initial days, he didn’t know how to cook. Later, my sister and I learned to cook, and so did our father. He, too, used to cook for us. I keep posting photos with my family so that the audience and family know that I am very close to them”.

According to some sources, it is said that her net worth is 40 to 50 lakhs. But as we can see that she has her own youtube channel and so many followers on Instagram, her net worth would be around 1 crore or maybe more.
