An Indian spy living in Pakistan is on a mission where he has to balance his personal and professional life.
After facing multiple delays, the most-awaited movie of the talented star Sidharth Malhotra lastly seen in Shershaah was released at the beginning of 2023 on Netflix. Initially, this spy thriller was scheduled to be released on 13 May 2022, but it was delayed two times, and its theatrical release was eventually canceled.
Helmed by Shantanu Bagchi, this movie stars the Female National Crush of India , Rashmika Mandanna, who rose to prominence after appearing in Pushpa: The Rise movie in the lead role. Additionally, it features various other actors, including Parmeet Sethi, Rajit Kapur, Sharib Hashmi, and Kumud Mishra, who played wonderful supporting roles in the movie.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Mission Majnu’ The movie is about the life of an Indian Spy named Amandeep Singh, who lives in Pakistan as an undercover agent and introduces himself as Tariq Hussain. Set in the backdrop of the 1970s, this film starts with the success of nuclear tests done by India. Agitated by India’s success, Pakistan also decided to make an atomic bomb secretly with the help of Abdul Qadeer Khan.
Somehow, the RAW chief gets to know about this vicious plan of Pakistan, and he takes approval from the Prime Minister of India to carry out a secret investigation. After getting approval, he contacts a sharp-minded spy agent Amandeeop Singh and puts him in charge of the mission titled Mission Majnu.
During his mission of protecting his country, he meets Nasreen Hussain, a blind girl played by the Goodbye actress Rashmika Mandanna. He falls for her and marries her. Now, it is quite challenging for him to carry out his mission without revealing his true identity in front of his pregnant wife. Will Amandeep Singh, a.k.a Tariq, be able to succeed in his mission? Forms the rest of the story.
