A Tamil language political drama film, Nenjuku Needhi which translates to justice for the heart. The film is produced by a very famous producer that I’m pretty sure we all have heard of, Boney Kapoor. Well, now that the production company is from somewhere so famous, we are kind of bound to stream this movie.
The movie is an official remake of the 2019 Hindi movie, Article 15, which starred Ayushman Khurana. The movie is all about an honest and dedicated police officer who is striving against the cruel caste system in India. The film was released in May and got pretty positive reviews from the audience.
Nenjuku Needhi- The Storyline The movie is about a police officer named Vijayragavan who is now posted in a rural area of Tamil Nadu. this is the place where cassette discrimination and untouchability are still being practiced. Even though Vijay has read so much about caste discrimination in books but it somehow gets difficult for him to confront all these people in real.
And then out of a sudden, a mysterious case of three missing Dalit girls who were employed in a factory nearby arrives and makes his life even more miserable and tormenting. Plus all this happens while he was just trying to understand all the ongoing things and battling with his fear of confronting all the villagers about their wrongdoings.
Then out of those three girls, two are found dead while the real mystery unleashes when there is not a single trace of the third one. Now the rest of the plot is formed by what happened to the third girl and how Vijay faces his battles with the injustice happening around him.
