Housefull is one of the biggest comedy drama franchises in India that stars the Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar in the lead role. A few months ago, the fifth installment of this franchise was announced by the makers and was scheduled to be released on Diwali 2024. But now its release date has been pushed back to June 2025.
Reportedly, the makers did this to provide 5 times the entertainment to the audience. Additionally, according to some rumors they’re planning to offer a special role to Sunny Deol in Housefull 5 to level up the spice. As per the reports, Sunny Deol liked his role but hasn’t signed the movie yet.

Sunny Deol Play Special Role in Housefull 5?
Sunny Deol is riding the wave of success after performing commendably in the blockbuster movie Gadar 2; fans want to see him in more of the bigger projects. Now, it seems their wish has been granted as the makers of The Housefull 5 offered a special role to Sunny Deol.
If Sunny Deol said yes to the movie then it would prove to be a treat for the netizens as they got the chance to adore the Deol brothers together on the silver screen. Bobby Deol joined the Housefull franchise in 2019 with the fourth installment and there are high chance that he will become a part of Housefull 5 as well.
But netizens have to wait a little longer for this movie as the makers have delayed the release. A source states, “The Housefull franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Housefull 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with a great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be released on 6th June 2025.”
