To encourage her daughter to study diligently, Chanda comes up with all kinds of strategies, even going to the length of enrolling in the same school as her daughter.
Hindi Movie, ‘Nil Batte Sannata’ meaning Zero divided by zero equals nothing, is a film that portrays a story of a single mother who, to encourage her daughter, somehow finds a dream for herself. Released in 2016, the film has received many positive reviews from its viewers, praising the plot of the movie. The movie stars Pankaj Tripathi, who delivered many memorable movies like Mirzapur , Criminal Justice , Stree , Ludo , Mimi, and more, along with Swara Bhaskar, a controversial queen seen in many movies.
The Storyline of the Movie, ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ The film revolves around Apeksha (Riya Shukla), an unmotivated student, and her mother, Chanda (Swara Bhaskar), a single mother who works four menial jobs to pay for her daughters’ studies. While Chanda wishes her daughter to be successful and not end up living a life like herself, Apeksha has lost all hope and interest in studies believing that a daughter of a maid is going to end up as a maid.
Apeksha struggles in mathematics the most, so Chanda expresses her worries to Dr. Diwan (Ratna Pathak Shah), who suggests she hire a math tutor for Apeksha. Apeksha refuses to do so, still adamant about her belief in ending up as a maid. Not able to come up with any other way, Chanda enrolls herself in Apeksha’s school and starts studying in the same class as her daughter.
After enrolling, Chanda studies diligently and gets praised by the teachers for her great progress, causing Apeksha to be frustrated and angered. The movie continues with Apeksha trying to get her mother to quit the school until she realizes her mother struggles to let her daughter not get the same fate.
