Outer Banks Overview Outer Banks is a set on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. John B, Kiara, Pope and J.J live on an island named Kildare. One day John B’s dad disappears without any information. Later on, he goes to find his father and all his friends accompany him on the mission.
Outer Banks Season 1 Plot As we know, there are two categories of people living on the Outer Banks. One is pogues, middle class people and others are referred to as Kooks, the wealthy ones who live luxurious lives. Kiara, also known as Ki, is from the family of Kooks, but she enjoys spending time with her pogues friend’s John B, J.J and Pope. One day, John B’s father disappears. Later on, they find a treasure map which unburys many secrets. The main plot comes when they find a tape recorder of John B’s father which says “finish what you started”. The group returns home when they don’t find any treasure. From the beginning J.J has daddy issues. J.J’s father is abusive and before dying he gets wasted and beats him. After that J.J put a gun on his head but didn’t pull the trigger. What do you think will happen next? Will they be able to find more clues about treasure or will they get ditched by their own friends?
Outer Banks Season 2 Plot Season 1 left us with a very astonishing ending: When the ship blasts.
In Season 2 The Pogues think that Sarah and John B died. But here comes the plot, Sarah and John B are alive. Yes you read it right. But they are far away from their friends. And the police is finding John B as they suspect that he killed a sheriff.
But we know that Rafe murdered her. On the other hand, Pope finds out that his family heirloom is a big golden cross. In the second half of the season, Pope receives a letter from an anonymous lady who wants to know about the key. Pope meets her and finds out many truths about his family. At the end, the pogues end up at a deserted Island. Furthermore, their friends and relatives try to find them .
The major plot comes when the rich lady goes to meet someone and that someone is John B’s dad. Yes! That is true. His dad is alive. He promises Limbrey that he will help her but in exchange he asks her to save his son.
Outer Banks Season 3 Plot (Expected) According to some rumours and analysis, Season 3 is going to be more adventurous. Characters are gonna die and maybe new characters will be introduced. There are so many theories of what is going to happen in Season 3.
But according to me, In Season 3, there will be patch ups and breakups. As we saw in last season, 3 girls and 3 boys end up at the island. So it is sure that we all are going to witness some romance and love triangle maybe. According to one theory, Kiara is going to die at the end of Season 3 and I kinda agree with that.
Also, John B’s dad is going to play a major role in Season 3 as he was introduced at the end of Season 2.
We cannot predict what is going to happen. Maybe the streamers have a different story. But I am sure that Season 3 will be more exciting than the other seasons. Let’s wait till January 2023 then.

Josh Pate said that “Ever since we started, we always viewed it as something that was probably like a four-season, maybe five-season show, but definitely four seasons. Outer Banks Season 3 New Cast A local news station WCBD News 2 also reported that Outer Banks is looking for a cast who can play the younger role of John B. They said that: “Casting agents say the show’s director is looking for a juvenile actor to portray a younger version of the show’s lead character, John B, next week.”
“The candidate must be a Caucasian male between five and seven years old with light brown hair, and brown or hazel eyes. You are asked not to submit your child unless they fit that age range and resemble the character, which is played by actor Chase Stokes.”
Furthermore, On 12th July, Project casting also informed that Outer Banks is looking for people who can play roles as Kooks Dad, Pogues, Bartenders and more.
