A blind man takes the responsibility of protecting an innocent girl whose father is killed by a gangster and fulfills the dream of her mother of becoming a cop.
The Telugu-language action comedy movie ‘Raja the Great’ hit the theatre screen in October 2017. Made under the direction of Anil Ravipudi, it stars one of the highest-paid actors in the South Indian film industry Ravi Teja who has appeared in various movies such as Dhamaka , Ravanasura , Waltair Veerayya, Ramarao on Duty, and more in the lead role.
Initially, the director approached the RRR fame N. T. Rama Rao Jr and Ram Pothineni (lastly seen in Red and The Warrior ) for the movie but finally, Ravi Teja was selected and this movie became the highest-grossing film of his career. This action-packed film got so much appreciation for its unforgettable action scenes and rib-tickling dialogues but was criticized for its writing.

The Storyline of the Movie Raja the Great The basic premise of this movie revolves around a blind man Raja played by Ravi Teja who considers his disability a major strength because her mother Anantha Lakshmi who is a head constable in a police department always teaches him not to underestimate himself. She wants to make her son a police officer.
In order to fulfill her dream, she requests IG Viswaraj to include her son in the mission of protecting Lucky, the daughter of SP Prakash who is killed by a powerful gangster Devaraj. After the death of her father, Lucky runs away to Darjeeling and takes shelter in her uncle’s home. There she meets Raja who helps her in coming out of her depressed state and brings happiness into her life.
When everything is getting normal, Devaraja comes back into their lives and orders his goons to attack Lucky. Then, Viswaraj decides to send Lucky abroad to safeguard her but Raja advises her not to run and fights them bravely. Raja protects her from the goons and gives them a warning to stay away from her.
This incident infuriates Devaraja and he kidnaps Lucky and Raja’s mother. What will happen next? Will Raja be able to protect his loved ones from the gangster? The rest of the story gives answers to all these questions.
