The Storyline of the Movie Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein The story darts with Maddy’s, R. Madhavan (critically acclaimed for his phenomenal performance in Rocketry and also appeared Dhokha: Round C Corner ) narration who is a brat and a notorious student at his college. On the contrary, there’s Sam, Saif Ali Khan (recently seen in Vikram Vedha and Tandav ) who is the college model.
Maddy and Sam have constant loggerheads that everyone knows. Maddy even sometimes tries to frame Sam. Once Maddy challenges Sam to have a one-on-one fight with Sam, they begin the fight, but the college professor, however, interrupts it. After a while, they graduate and the fight doesn’t take place.
Three years later, Maddy is working as a software instructor in a private company, he has mellowed down a little but has not changed. On his trip to Delhi, Maddy sees a girl, Reena (Dia Mirza recently seen in Bheed ) dancing in the rain and feels attracted to her. While attending the wedding of one of his college friends, he meets Rena again. He then meets Reena in Mumbai and finds out that she’s set to get engaged to her childhood friend Rajeev, who lives in the USA. Maddy also finds out that she doesn’t know what Rajeev looks like after such a long while.
Now heads over heels for Reena, Maddy pretends to be Rajeev and decides to tell her his true identity. Reena also falls in love with her. Now what’s there to see is how Reena is going to find out the truth.
