Ranbir Kapoor who played excellent roles in movies like Sanju , Wake Up Sid , Saawariya , Raajneeti , Arjun Rampal (Jai Mehra from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and the most loved Ra.one ), and Jacqueline Fernandez (known for her character Sophie in Bachchhan Pandey ) is back, but not separately but with a film together named Roy. Bollywood with imagination or fantasy concepts is a treat to watch just like in Taarzan: The Wonder Car . Roy is all about the imagination of a person who falls in love with a girl, however, the girl left him because of his past. He was broken and confused to express his reality now. This is when his imagination showed him the path.
This movie will make you feel how strong imagination can be, and it is a full pack of imagination, romance, and beautiful songs. Movies with a different idea mostly get a thumbs up from the audience whereas Roy is coming up with a new story.
The Storyline of the Movie Roy
A screenwriter and a Casanova filmmaker Kabir was making multiple movies on the life of thieves, and he made 2 movies both of them were a hit and he went to Malaysia for the third one where he met Ayesha. Ayesha was also a filmmaker and because of working together, they become friends soon. They were working on the project when Kabir found out that he was in love with Ayesha. And told Ayesha what he felt, and she accepted his proposal because she felt the same way.
However, things changed Ayesha later came to know about Kabir’s Casanova past and broke up with him thinking he was the same and unchanged. Later Kabir came back to Mumbai as he was in depression and what was more bitter to hear is his father’s death and also filmmakers sued him. In the hard time, he decided to complete the third part of his film.
Then he started making the film in a parallel world. Where there was a non famous art thief Roy. He was very far from any country’s police, including Detective Wadia. For his new mission, he planned to rob the painting from the mansion in which Tia was living alone. He later managed to impress Tia and Tia offered him to live with her. One night Roy took the painting and ran away leaving Tia broken. But later he found that he is actually in love with Tia and wants to be with her. So he left everything and went back to her. She found that Roy, was a changed man, she accepted his love.
Back to Reality with this idea Kabir’s film became a hit at the box office. And at the end Kabir purpose Ayesha, and they end up reuniting. Then at the end of the movie, the imaginary characters Roy and Tia are under a bridge exactly shown in the robbed painting.
