The Storyline of The Movie ‘Sairat’ Sairat is a love story between Prashant Kale aka Parshya, a low-caste poor boy, and Archana Patil urf Archi, who is a daughter of a rich upper-caste landlord.
Parshya and Archi go to the same college and slowly start falling for each other. As the duo starts spending more and more time with each other, Archi’s bulky and muscular maternal cousin, Manya, takes a note and beats up Parshya warning him to stay away from Archi. However, Archi asks him not to intervene.
Things move further and unfortunately for Archi and Parshya, at Archi’s younger brother’s birthday celebration, the couple is caught kissing each other. Archi’s father aggravated the situation by thrashing Parshya and his friends.
When Archi and Parshya decided to elope as they didn’t see any other option, Archi’s father went as far as registering a fake complaint against Parshya and his friends, accusing them of gang raping Archi.
Anyhow, Archi and Parshya eloped to begin their new life together, overcoming every hardship that came their way; soon enough they became parents to a boy, Aakash. Archi decides to call her mother to inform her of the new addition to their life.
As a sign of reconciliation from Archi’s family, her brother and relatives come to see them with gifts. What follows next is the murder of Archi and Parshya by her brother.
