The movie revolves around a painter, a vigilante who continues to kill corrupt officers for their crimes, and an officer who wishes to catch him and stop those killings. Though this might seem like a good deed to some, it isn’t what the Police Force would ever want.
Hindi Movie, ‘Satyameva Jayate’ released in 2018, is yet another action film from John Abraham. The movie was well-received and also had a sequel Satyameva Jayate 2 .
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Satyameva Jayate’ When four police officers are killed consecutively, and the killer’s identity remains unknown, the Mumbai Police Force is at the end of its wits. The movie continues when Veer (John Abraham) is revealed as the true killer. And when it is clear that he has no intention of stopping Commissioner Manish Shukla (Manish Chaudhari), he tasks Shivansh (Manoj Bajpayee, The Family Man Web series fame actor), an honest police officer, to catch him.
After which, Veer modifies his voice and lets Shivansh know who his next target would be.
Though Shivansh tries to stop Veer, he fails in doing so, resulting in him starting to start looking deeper into the cases. While looking at the files, Shivansh could crack the pattern of Veer’s killings.
After this, the movie follows Veer and Shivansh’s part of the story. These two are shown to have similar objectives, but the only difference that has classified one to be the good guy and the other tagged as a killer is the law.
Where Shivansh abides by the rules to fight against corruption, Veer takes action by himself, disregarding the law. The ending takes a wild turn when we find out the truth about Veer and Shivansh’s relationship with each other.
