Shanti Kranti Season 1- An Overview Three friends who are off on a road trip. Wait a second, where have we seen this all before? Dil chahta hai, the blockbuster flick starring Amir khan has a huge influence on the web series and that can be seen in numerous scenes, the most notable one being the licence plate of the car with the number DCH 2001.
And even though the story is inspired by DCH, it has more to it than what meets the eye. For starters, the show brings out some fresh talent with the likes of Alok Rajwade, Abhay Mahajan and Lalit Prabhakar.
Similar to every normal series, this one, too, revolves around the struggles of three youngsters who are trying to deal with the problems and issues of their lives. But the boat is in unknown waters when Shreyas aka Abhay comes with a change of plan and instead of being in Goa, they end up in Shantivan.
The build up to the real plot may seem boring to some but if you sit patiently through the first three episodes, we assure you that it gets better. There are times when the actors may have gone a bit overboard with the task in hand, but everything has its merits and demerits.
The series has survived through 6 episodes and gives off the great vibe of friendship and of self sufficiency.
