Tollywood never lacks in presenting its audience with back-to-back blockbusters and movies like never before. You guessed it right, another Telugu language blockbuster hit is released. Sita Ramam is a periodic musical drama film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
Mrunal Thakur, the famous Bollywood actress, recently seen in the movie ‘Jersey ’ is debuting in this Telugu language movie. Sita Ramam- The Storyline The story is about the early 1960s, when Mujahideen, a Pakistani extremist, felt that Kashmiri Muslims and Hindus shouldn’t be having any sort of relationships with each other.
Then in 1985, Afreen, a fierce Pakistani living in London sets a car belonging to an Indian philanthropist on fire for burning the Pakistani flag. The university asks Afreen to apologize to the Indian guy, but she somehow refuses to do so. The philanthropist gives her two choices, either to pay him 1 Million or go to prison. She agrees to pay him the money but to get the money she travels back to Pakistan to ask her grandfather about money, although after reaching there she finds out that her grandfather had passed away. In his will, he asks her to deliver his letter to her Indian lover who will then inherit the wealth he had left for Afreen. Reluctant to do so at first, Afreen somehow agrees to deliver the letter.
Now Afreen travels to Hyderabad to search for Sita (her grandfather’s lover). Reaching there, she finds out that the address belonging to Sita is actually a Women’s college and there’s no one named Sita there. She then starts to look for Ram but again fails to reach out to him. But she manages to get to his best friend and one of his army troop members. Then she learns about Ram’s story. What’s worthy to watch now is what actually is Ram’s story and how it is going to affect Afreen and her life.
