Two best friends falling in love with the same girl has never been good for one’s friendship but what’s even worse is when that girl is the ex-girlfriend of the said best friend.
“Student of the Year ” is a coming-of-age romantic comedy, starring Sidharth Malhotra (applauded for his tremendous performance in Shershaah Alia Bhatt Badlapur best dancers of Bollywood
The three leads of the film had done an amazing job performing their characters and that was shown by the number of critics praising them for it. Karan Johar again gave the audience a glitzy, dramatic teen romance.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Student of the Year’ The film starts in the present time when Yogendra Vashisht (Rishi Kapoor ), the former Dean of St. Teresa’s College, is on his deathbed and asks to see the students from his last batch. When a few of them arrive, they start reminiscing about the old days, and this is where the film continues in the past which is ten years back.
The “IT” couple on the college campus is Rohan Nanda (Varun Dhawan ) and Shanaya Singhania (Alia Bhatt). Though everything might seem perfect in their lives, the reality was far from it, and only one outsider could see it all.
Abhimanyu Singh (Sidharth Malhotra ) was a new student coming from a middle-class family on a scholarship. Though his start with the famous couple was a bit rocky at first, he and Rohan soon bonded over a football match and eventually became the best of buddies.
Abhimanyu had become Rohan’s safe space and so was the same for the former. But everything started to change when Shanaya starts feeling something for Abhimanyu.
