Diljit is winning hearts with his performances and again he is back with his interesting comic timings in “Super Singh”.
Super Singh is a story about a Superhero who is not aware of his powers but feels them, even after being a superhero, he falls in love with a foreigner who thinks his tradition is inferior while he is proving his love for his turban and fighting all alone. Not only Super Singh, but Pollywood has produced some excellent movies like Qismat 2 , Honsla Rakh , and Ambarsariya , and these movies received love not only from Punjab but worldwide.
Super Singh also stars Sonam Bajwa , last seen in Godday Godday Chaa , she has played her part well in this movie and her chemistry with Diljit is surely the USP of Super Singh.
It’s not that common to make a movie on a new topic like Super Singh, plus being a regional movie, Pollywood tried to experiment with a new topic and storyline. Not just that, even the audience prefers such original content to remade ones. It’s good that ideas are evolving as it is helping in the development of the cinema industry and will benefit in the long term and Super Singh can be an example.
The Storyline of the Movie Super Singh
It is a story of an ordinary Sikh who only understands the enjoyment and amusements of life. He lives with his mother in Canada and is not ready to understand the value of hard work. Just for fun, he wants to impress a Canadian girl named Cathy while he himself is secretly loved by one of his childhood friends. When his mother was going to Canada she exchanged the turban with someone by mistake, which belonged to Sajjan Singh.
Cathay already had a boyfriend and even after knowing that Sam (Sajjan Singh) was trying to impress her, he was aware that her boyfriend and his friends would beat him like a sack of wheat, and the same even happened for real. But surprisingly he managed to defeat all of them without knowing how that happened, he felt some kind of power inside him.
He was trying to find the reason for the superpower but was unable to find the cause. Days passed but still, Sam was confused about how he was using his powers successfully. But when he was going for a haircut for Cathy he found that the power ended and later on with the help of his friend, he came to know that the power was of the turban and nothing else. Finally, he realized that Cathy was not the perfect girl for him because she felt his tradition was inferior. He later helped her to understand who the Singhs were, what they did, and what they could do. From then, he became the Super Singh. After many defeats and struggles, he saved Shree Darbar Sahib from the fire by Dass and defeated the fake guru. At the end of the day, he met the web-slinger (Sharry Mann ) and talked for a while later he revealed that he was an actor.
But Finally, he understood the value of hard work and went back to his birthplace Punjab, India with his mother.
