Taare Zameen Par – The Storyline Taare Zameen Par movie is about an 8-year-old boy who has trouble remembering things. And unfortunately, that’s the only thing Indian schools expect from their students, to memorize stuff for as much as you can. But that’s not it, Ishan is also blessed with some exceptional imaginative skills that let him draw and paint like an adult.
However, this potential is certainly disregarded to some extent in the beginning. Soon his parents send him off to boarding school in hope of getting him back on track. Initially, Ishan regrets being there and really misses his home until he meets his new art teacher, Ram Shankar who identifies the talent of his student and sees the real potential in him.
When Ishan was battling with anxiety and was on the verge of being in depression, Ram Shankar was the one who gets him back and makes him feel counted and seen. Soon Ishan also identifies his true potential and no longer feels vulnerable.
