Actress Adah Sharma and her team met with a minor road accident amidst all the death threats. The actress assured the fans and said nothing major had happened and that everyone was safe.
Amidst all the controversies created by The Kerala Story , the team met with an accident on Sunday. The accident happened when they were on their way to join the Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar.
As soon as the news regarding the accident came out, fans were concerned as the actress has been reportedly receiving death threats since the release of the movie. She took to Twitter to inform everyone that she and the team is fine and that there was nothing to worry about.
The Kerala Story has been in the limelight for some political reasons. The movie focuses on a group that targets young girls to convert them to Islam and forces them to join the terrorist group ISIS.
The movie has faced opposition from a section of society and some political parties who feel that the movie is based on false facts and promotes hatred towards the Muslim community.
Despite all the protests and being banned in some states, the movie is doing good in terms of the box office collection. The actress shared a tweet thanking the audience for the mass success of the movie.
The movie was released on over 200 screens on May 5 and has crossed the 100 crores mark at the box office.
The actress recently confessed that she has never had any big dreams for her Bollywood career, as she thought only star kids can have that fandom. She said she has always worked in movies as if it might be her last. With her movie becoming one of the top grosser of the year, she is still overwhelmed and absorbing everything that comes along.
