The Marathi romantic movie ‘Ved’ has been one of the most anticipated Marathi movies of the year. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, the movie is inspired by the Telugu film ‘Majili’ which was released in 2019.
The Storyline of the Movie, ‘Ved’ The movie revolves around Satya (Riteish Deshmukh), who is a talented cricket player but is still waiting for his efforts to be recognized. Satya is in love with Nisha (Jiya Shankar) but is unaware of the one-sided crush his childhood friend Shravani (Genelia Deshmukh) has on him. Satya’s life was going smoothly after meeting Nisha, he was starting to get somewhere in Cricket, and Nisha had also agreed to be his girlfriend.
But not everything can ever stay the same, Satya gets accused of match-fixing, and his Cricket carrier comes tumbling down. Unable to move on with the loss of Cricket and Nisha in his life, Satya had turned to smoking and drinking, and 12 years later, he was married to Shravani. Satya is shunned by everyone around him except Shravani, who defends him every time, even though she knows that he would never love her the same. But one can only take so much humiliation and even Shravani had her limits.
