The dates of India’s upcoming tour of the West Indies have been announced, with Cricket West Indies locking in that the action will commence on July 12 and run right through to August 13. At this event, sports enthusiasts will be able to celebrate 2 test matches, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is.
It will come as no surprise to learn that it’s no open secret that cricket betting online is hugely popular when the India men’s cricket team is in action too, and with Test matches, ODIs, and T20Is in store, there’s ample opportunity for people to get involved and potentially put their knowledge to good use.
Drilling further into the details, India’s upcoming tour of the Caribbean will first see them head to Dominica , where they will play the first of two Test matches between July 12 and July 16. The team will then head to Trinidad to compete in the second Test match, which will be played between July 20 and July 24. This series will also be the marker for the beginning of the World Test Championship scheduled to run between 2023 and 2025 for both teams.
Once the Test series is all packed up, our fabulous players in the blue will move on to the next series of ODIs which will be held in Barbados and Trinidad between July 27 and August 1. Once the winner gets decided on each match from the series of ODIs, the team will then head forward to the next destinations which would be Guyana and Trinidad where 5 T20Is will be organized. The final two T20I matches will see the tour head to an end in the USA, with Florida’s Lauderhill on hosting duties this time.
Both India and the West Indies have reasons to see the upcoming multi-format series as a positive. For the former, they will undoubtedly see this as the perfect opportunity to put their World Test Championship final defeat to Australia behind them. And getting back on track against the West Indies also comes at the ideal time, as the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup takes place later in the year in India.
This West Indies vs India series of matches can be found remarkable for them as the beginning of a new era. The cause behind this is more than one, where Andre Coley has been appointed as the head coach of the test series team while on the other hand, Daren Sammy will take the responsibility for the limited-overs side.
India can be sure of a warm welcome to the West Indies, with the action commencing in just over two weeks. Johnny Grave, Cricket West Indies CEO, said, “We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India.
“One of the highlights will be the 100th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval, and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations.”
It is a pretty obvious question that at what place do both teams stand when it comes to each type of match? So, here is the table that shows what place these teams hold in different international cricket events.

We can proudly see how big cricket is in India, and how well the Indian cricket team performs in matches. However, we never know what turn the game may take and who wins in the future.
