A man chooses his career over love but after years the lovers confront each other again.
Set in the snow-clad town of Uttarakhand, the captivating romantic drama Sanam Re hit the theaters on 12 February 2016. This movie was the second directorial movie of Yaariyan 2 fame Divya Khosla Kumar, and it was produced by her husband and renowned producer Bhushan Kumar.
Pulkit, who recently appeared in Fukrey 3 , is in the lead role in this movie and is sharing the screen with Yami Gautam. The duo together have also appeared in Junooniyat , and always succeed in engaging the eyes of the audience with their gripping chemistry.

The Storyline of Sanam Re Movie Akash is informed that his grandfather’s health is not well, so he visits his town, Tanakpur to grab a last glimpse of his grandfather and his studio. When he is at the studio, he is driven by nostalgia and a flashback appears in which he is in love with his high school classmate Shruti, who also loves him. But because Akash wants to follow his passion, he moves to Mumbai without informing Shruti and continues his higher studies there.
When Shruti learns about it, she is shattered and heartbroken. At present, he is back in the same place and is trying to find her but fails. However, he needs to rush back to the city when he learns that his boss has fired him and he needs to find a big contract to secure his job. He visits Canada and meets the investor’s wife Mrs. Pablo who has recently broken up with his husband. Akash befriends her while she attends a Yoga camp.
Coincidentally, Shruti is also part of that camp, and she pretends herself as a happy-go-lucky girl and neglects to recognize Akash. Although they got apart, they were never able to make the affection between them end. Will this camp be the source for reuniting their love?
