The Storyline of the Zid Movie Zid movie opens up in Goa where a crime reporter named Rohan Achrekar alias Ronnie shifts to a rented apartment located in a remote area of Goa. There he meets the owner of a house who is a paralyzed wheelchair-old man living with his granddaughter Maya. However, Maya falls in love with Ronnie at first sight but he is struggling to move on after his break up with his ex-girlfriend Priya who moved to London.
As Maya is in love with Ronnie, she begins doing weird things including stealing his photo frame. But she misunderstands that Ronnie is also in love with her when she spots her photo on his desktop but that picture was randomly snapped by Ronnie. There is no feeling for Maya within Ronnie and he just finds her cute. To cheer her up, he takes her to club night where Maya’s step-sister Nancy has also arrived.
Maya feels jealous upon seeing Ronnie and Nancy dancing together. Later, on their way back home, Ronnie drives drunk and hits Nancy while she is driving a scooter. Ronnie panics upon this while Maya is calm and is a trained nurse, she goes to Nancy but declares her death. Is she dead or Maya has something else in her mind?
